Lincoln City’s skateboard park is an 8,000 square foot area with more than 100 lines and a challenging 9-foot bowl to make any boarders pulse go off the scale. Started in 1998, The Lincoln City Parks and Recreation Department weren’t happy and wanted boarding to be available in any weather. So the facility was expanded to an all-weather skateboarding site called ‘The Cradle’, where 5,600 or its 8,600 square feet are protected under a roof. A unique feature is the dome shaped cradle where you can skate upside down if you build up enough speed. Lincoln City is one of only three places in the world where you can do that.
